Digital impressions are comfortable and highly accurate. They use light waves and high definition cameras to capture teeth and gum tissues. Scanning takes only a matter of seconds. Drs. Fitton are able to instantly see the results to be able to discuss your dental care. These scans are stored digitally which eliminates the need for multiple impressions over the years. We can even show patients instant orthodontic results of their own teeth with either traditional braces or Invisalign.
After taking the digital scans, Drs. Fitton use 3D printing technology to generate a model of the patient’s teeth. These models can be used to make crowns, veneers, oral appliances, whitening trays, and digital surgical guides for dental implants! These surgical guides allow us to quickly and accurately place dental implants.
